Peace Corps (PC) Tanzania celebrate 45th anniversary

 

On Wednesday, October 18, 2006 Peace Corps (PC) Tanzania celebrated 45th
anniversary at the US Ambassador’s residence, in Dar es Salaam. The Peace
Corps Volunteers promotes world peace and friendship by fulfilling three
fundamental goals: Helping the people of interested countries in meeting
their need for trained men and women; Helping promote a better
understanding of Americans on the part of the people served; and helping
promote a better understanding of other peoples on the part of Americans.
