Returned basket ball coaches

Tanzania basketball coaches and officials at the U.S. Embassy are now reaching for the sky after their two week visit to the U.S. The Tanzanians from nine regions of Mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar remarked that they now have many great ideas to implement in Tanzania. Notably, they saw parents working in cooperation with coaches and teachers for youth sports, and idea they want to implement in their communities. The coaches were selected by the U.S. Embassy for a basketball coaches’ clinic in the United States. With them is Karen Grissette, U.S. Embassy Deputy Public Affairs Officer.
