Groundbreaking Ceremony of New American Recreational Center

Members of the U.S. Mission in Dar es Salaam joined U.S. Ambassador to Tanzania Mark Green on the morning of Friday, November 14, 2008, for a brief groundbreaking ceremony for the American Embassy Recreational Center. The new Recreation Center (expected to be completed next year by July 4th) will contain a swimming pool, a children’s pool, a cabana pool house, two combination tennis/basketball/volleyball courts, a bar-b-que area, and a sunbathing area.
